Novinger’s, Inc. has an excellent career opportunity for a project Estimator with 5 to 7 years of experience in steel stud framing, drywall, Acoustic Ceilings, and exterior wall panels.
Working knowledge of Planswift, OST, and Quickbid estimating software preferred, as well as experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, acquiring bid information on upcoming projects; reading and reviewing construction documents; reviewing job conditions prior to bidding and start of project; preparing quantitative take-off of drawings; evaluating project information and calculating costs; developing and submitting project proposals to customers; following up on proposals and closing sales. Also: Set up and maintain Job Files, solicit pricing from vendors, assist with Change Orders, Job Work Orders and Subcontract Agreements.
