Harrison City, PA (Westmoreland County): The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is seeking to pre-qualify General, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical prime contractors for Summer 2026 bidding for the construction of a new maintenance facility near Harrison City. The construction estimate is in the range of $59 to $77 million.
Contractors who have not been prequalified through this process will not be permitted to bid on this contract.
Subcontractors are not required to be prequalified.
Prequalification proposals are due by 3:00 PM, April 17, 2026.
Contractors who submitted a response to the previous request by the deadline of 3:00 PM on February 27, 2026 or March 13, 2026, do not need to respond to this request.
In addition to the prequalification process, bidders are required to register with the Commission as a business partner.
